Austria: union concentration goes on with the creation of “pro.ge”, a “production union”

metalworkers’ union (GMTN), the chemistry union (GdC) and wood and building workers’ union (GBH), the “pro.ge” interunion alliance is going to become a full-fledged union at the end of November 2009, after the merger of the chemistry and metallurgy unions. The new organization will represent 265.000 employees. (Ref. 090186)
