The news. Belgian MPs adopted, during a plenary session held overnight from June 18 to 19, a bill extending flexi-jobs to all private and public sectors. Under this scheme, employees can take on a secondary job that is exempt from income tax, while employers can address staff shortages and benefit from reduced social security contributions. The law will enter into force on July 1.
