The Belgium Labour Ministry published a guide it developed along with the three large mobile phone operators in Belgium. This guide, written from an evaluation of the risks linked to the presence of electromagnetic fields, establishes working procedures to avoid dangerous situations and protect workers. (Ref. 080039)
This guide must be regarded as a “code of good practices” was written in full consideration of “current scientific knowledge concerning electromagnetic fields’ impacts on health”, the Labour Ministry pointed out. The brochure concerns people in charge of identifying the risks and taking prevention and protection measures when works have to be carried out on or near buildings which belong to mobile phone networks.
