The Council of Ministers approved, on June 9, a draft royal decree on the employment of old workers, which provides assistance to promote the employment of seniors and the quality of working conditions. The text lowers the age condition : from 55 to 45 years old. (réf. 06592)
The draft royal decree aims at the missions of the Fund of professional experience, which is an initiative of the federal public sector intended to maintain “old” workers in the labour market longer. The project lowers the age which applies to the concept of “old worker”. From now on, a worker is considered old when he is 45 years old, instead of 55 previously.
Subsidies for employers. The text provides that employers can receive a subsidy to improve employment opportunities for old employees,
