Wage increase and enhanced training are some of the key themes of the negotiations for the renewal of the manufacturing collective agreement launched on January 7 by Dansk Industri for employers and CO-Industri for unions. The parties aim to reach an agreement by February 7. This renewal for the biggest collective agreement in the country affects 240,000 employees in 6,000 businesses and sets the tone for all other private sector collective agreements negotiated this year.
Karsten Dybvad and Kim Graugaard, administrative director and vice-director of Dansk Industri, together with Claus Jensen, leader of Dansk Metal and CO-Industri and Mads Anderson, vice-president of CO-Industri and leader of 3F’s Industrigruppen, the 4 lead negotiators for the manufacturing collective agreement, launched the negotiations for its renewal at a press conference in Copenhagen on January.
