The Italian energy group Enel (60,000 employees), privatized in 1999, launched a negotiation with a view to creating a European WC. The special negotiations group met for the first time on May 16 and 17 2007 in Rome. The signature of an agreement is expected for the beginning of 2008. (Ref. 070473)
