The French group’s subsidiary specialising in technical expertise is going to create a company CFA in June 2023 to boost its chances of reaching its target of 5,000 new hires per year. Several work-study programmes will be created, in professions related to energy, project management, aeronautics, and recruitment.
Leading international business provider of environmental and multi-services Derichebourg did not feature among the first group of French companies to open an apprentice training centre (CFA) when legislation was passed in 2018 that allowed this possibility (la loi avenir professionnel – the law on determining one’s professional future). “Hiring difficulties and staff turnover rates that particularly affect large employment areas brought us round to thinking about the issue and we ended up saying to ourselves that this structure was an opportunity for employment”, explained Derichebourg HR Director, Malika Bouchehioua.
