The dispute arose within the framework of GDF Suez’s plan to pool competences in terms of economic analysis of energy markets by bringing together the employees of two big competence centers, one in France and the other in Belgium.
Within the framework of the information and consultation procedures of the French structures, the central works council passed a resolution asking for the EWC’s opinion, as well as an assessment on the future of research, suspending its own opinion to the achievement of these two procedures.
