On 10 July, the French Employment Platforms Social Relations Authority (ARPE) announced the signing of an amendment to the agreement on the minimum income of independent food delivery riders, concluded in 2023. It increases the hourly activity income to 19 euros, compared to 11.75 euros previously. A monitoring committee will be set up with the signatory employer and trade union organisations (Union-indépendants and FNAE), notably to “assess the effectiveness” of the scheme.
