The Paris Court of Appeal has upheld La Poste's conviction for breaching its duty of vigilance under French law. This is the first decision by the specialised chamber for sustainability disputes, which clarifies the interpretation of the law's application, particularly in consultation with trade unions.
In a decision handed down on 17 June, the Paris Court of Appeal upheld the first instance judgment of 5 December 2023, condemning La Poste for violating its duty of vigilance.
