Asking job candidates during interview to state their parents’ professions, whether they received free school meals, and what their postcode was when they were 14 years of age: these are among proposed draft measures being put forward by the Minister for Cabinet Office and Paymaster General, Matt Hancock in charge of driving a ground-breaking movement to boost social mobility in the workplace.
