On May 7, the national representatives meeting of the Filctem-CGIL (oil, chemistry, pharmacy, rubber, plastic and gas-water union) focused on ways to promote “gender bargaining,” considered as the ‘Cinderella’ of collective bargaining. The guidelines that were issued affect five key areas including flexible hours, the organization of labor and work-life balance. (Ref. 130331)
“Getting the entire organization to change” was the goal of the national meeting of the female representatives of the Filctem, the CGIL’s federation born from the merger between chemistry and textile unions, which negotiates 30 collective agreements.
