The governmental council adopted, on February 22, 2008, the bill to implement Directive 2003/72 of July 22, 2003 supplementing the Statute for a European Society with regard to the involvement of workers. (Ref. 080160)
The bill is aimed at transposing Directive 2003/72 supplementing the Statute for a European Society (SE) with regard to the involvement of workers. The directive completes the regulation (EC) No. 1435/2003 which aims at creating a uniform legal framework within which cooperatives from different Member States should be able to plan and carry out the reorganization of their business in cooperative form on a European scale.
