Italy/Banking sector social partners implement a bilateral commercial business policy committee. The agreement to lift commercial-led pressure on banking sector employees and promote responsible financial markets product selling was signed in February 2017 (c.f. article No. 10064) has largely been ignored. On 12 December the banking sector ABI employers’ body together with the relevant trade unions progressed one step further and set up a joint Committee to monitor the banking sector best practice code of conduct.
