Google/ Minority shareholders place ethics and transparency (especially discrimination and harassment) on the 2019 annual shareholders meeting agenda. Google’s parent holding company Alphabet is holding its annual shareholders meeting on 19 June 2019 in Sunnyvale, California. In addition to three points brought by the Executive board, the meeting agenda contains 11 points brought by minority shareholders, five of which relate to corporate governance with the remaining six on the need for transparency over ethics and the company’s internal and external practices. Management advice to is vote against all of the shareholders’ proposals and they will not pass anyway since Google co-founders Sergeï Brin and Larry Page alone hold 51% of voting rights.
