Last November, trade unions united and gathered on the streets for the biggest protest against the government and its new social reforms ever seen in the history of independent Slovenia. Trade unions demanded that the government formally withdraw the proposal to introduce a uniform tax rate, called “flat tax”, from the procedures and daily agendas.
