The UK business of insurance group Zurich, which employs some 4,500 people in the country, has introduced a company policy to support employees who are victims of domestic abuse. The firm has announced several measures as part of the policy, including specific training for managers on this sensitive topic.
This new company policy at Zurich UK has been developed in partnership with the Swindon Domestic Abuse Support Service, an organisation that supports and protects victims of domestic abuse. It is aimed at both employees who are still living with their abuser and those who are seeking to escape from abusive relationships.
