In a press release issued on 27 February, Sara Kelly, vice president and chief human resources officer of Starbucks (240,000 employees in the United States), stated that the coffee chain’s management would enter into negotiations with the Workers United union (SWU) to reach collective agreements and discuss the implementation of “a fair process for organising”.
