In July, Amazon launched the unlimited delivery service in 100 Indian cities. Customers are offered a free trial for 60 days and a discounted annual subscription fee of US$7.50 (or 499 rupees), compared with the standard price of US$15. In the U.S.A., Prime customers pay annual fees of US$99. Amazon has invested US$5 billion in India since 2014 (22 active warehouses).
