While Auchan Retail continues to reduce retail areas by 25%, the Lille-based Administrative Court invalidated a job protection plan on September 23. The retailer, whose like-for-like turnover fell by 2.8% last year to €31.7 billion, and by 1.6% in the first half of 2025, presented this plan last November.
