Decathlon expands in North Africa

In early November, the sporting goods retailer Decathlon (sales of €10 billion in 2016) opened its first Tunisian unit in the capital city of Tunis. Covering a sales area of 1,500 sq.m, it is in the Tunis City shopping centre. The range covers 8,000 products. In Tunisia the Decathlon’s website has been selling the products since December 2016, with daily sales varying between €3,000 and €4,000.
