On September 3, 2026, Sephora announced its launch on TikTok Shop in the USA, with a strategy consisting of releasing exclusive products every month in limited quantities. The launch date is set for September 19, 2026. Beauty products will be launched exclusively on TikTok Shop, via influencer-created content and live streams. Some products will then be sold on Sephora’s website. In March 2026, Ulta Beauty also made inroads on the social commerce platform and has reported over 100 million cumulative impressions since.

Based on exclusive data provided to mind Retail by Lengow and Kalodata, we analyzed Q2 2026 trends on TikTok Shop. In the UK, GMV (gross merchandise value, calculated on the top 50 selling categories on TikTok Shop) reached €891 million over the quarter. This is double the four other main European markets combined, namely Germany, France, Spain and Italy.
