The new generation of Exotec robots has been launched in Belgium in a first Colruyt warehouse dedicated to food e-commerce. It is also about to be adopted in a second E.Leclerc warehouse in the Lyon region, mind Retail learned.

In Belgium, the warehouse automation specialist Exotec signed an agreement with Colruyt grocery retailer (turnover of €5.4 billion in the 6 months to the end of September 2024 down by 0.5%, net margin ratio at 3.6% or -10.3 points in a year). In the Londerzeel warehouse dedicated to e-commerce, the retailer is now using the new generation of Exotec robots, presented at the beginning of February 2025.
