The law of 17 July 2023, published in the Moniteur belge (Official Gazette) on 31 July 2023 applies the provisions of the EU Charter of Fundamental Rights and CJEU jurisprudence, which require that employees who fall ill or have an accident while on vacation retain their right to paid leave.
