They are aimed at avoiding that the increase of dismissals will become “a new wave of long-term unemployed.” These initiatives complete the government’s strategy against the crisis which includes, for 2009, a DKK 10 billion tax cut, an “outgoing” Finance Act, two bank “packages” and increase public investment into infrastructures.
