After giving oral presentations on their dissertations in front of a panel, all nine La Poste employees in the cohort obtained a cybersecurity diploma in June 2025, recognised by the National Directory of Professional Certifications. This allows them to confirm their employment in a dedicated position within one of the information systems (IS) departments where they had already been working on a work-study basis since September 2024. “We looked for employees who have an aptitude for learning and whose skills mean that, even if they do not come from the cyber world, they are familiar with the subject and already work within an IS entity. This is what allows us to have them partly in post before the end of the training,” explains Anne Deslandes, head of HR governance for the division, which has 5,700 employees.
Two professions facing shortages
The initiative followed an annual phase of gathering skills requirements across the IT sector.
