On 17 October, the French pharmaceutical industry reached its first collective agreement on the ecological transition. The agreement provides for social dialogue to support the transition, requires companies to carry out a carbon audit and offers a toolkit for companies.
Leem, French pharmaceutical companies association, and four of its six representative trade unions signed an industry-wide agreement on 17 October regarding the ecological transition and sustainable mobility. The CFDT, Force Ouvrière, UNSA and CFTC unions declared themselves signatories, totalling a representativeness of 62.94%, while the CFE-CGC and CGT unions did not. The agreement falls within the framework of the Paris Agreements and commits to a 50% reduction in carbon emissions by 2050. T
