The clothing brand Burberry, a UK symbol, is about to close one of its two factories, that located in Treorchy (Whales). A one year long audit has concluded that the site, employing 311 people, was no longer “viable” business-wise. The factory will normally close at the end of the year, but the company is still talking with workers and trade union representatives. Treorchy notably manufactures « duffle coats ».
