On 22 September, the French Ministry of Labour presented a plan named Impulsion IA 2027 aimed at accelerating the adoption of AI by companies and employees. It contains 12 measures applicable from 2027, focusing on employee training and supporting social dialogue, particularly in anticipating the impact on skills.
In France, the AI adoption rate stands at 18% among companies with 10 or more employees having used at least one AI system in 2025, a figure below the European average (20%). The use of AI is highly divided according to age and job category (three-quarters of executives and managers use it, but only 55% of employees and 38% of manual workers), which is why the government wants to accelerate its deployment.
