Karin Cook, director of operations at Lloyds Banking Group, said that with this first ever such policy in the UK the company wanted to be “inclusive to all colleagues”, as well as “seeking to attract high-calibre graduates who also belong to the LGBT (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender) community.
