On 2nd December 2015 , the group, which employs some 7,000 across Europe (including Switzerland, Austria, France, Germany, Italy, and Spain), signed an agreement with its European Works Council (EWC) containing the group’s official commitments that already featured in its company policy.
“The initiative came from the European forum (employee representatives, Ed.). Two years ago we merged with another insurance company (Nationale Suisse, Ed.), which was active in Switzerland, Germany, Italy, and Spain, and this is probably when our European representatives first requested a set of minimum standards.
