On April 24, the CGIL, Cisl and Uil union confederations and the Confidustria employers’ association signed an agreement defining the framework to conclude local agreement that apply the tax exemption over productivity-related pay. Overriding the separate agreement signed in November without the CGIL, it notably defines the system for signing local agreements for businesses without union representatives. This extends the number of workers and businesses that can enjoy this fiscal incentive. (Ref. 130280)
The unitary agreement signed on April 24 by Confindustria, CGIL, Cisl and Uil follows the memorandum adopted by the Minister of Labor on April 3. This text clarifies interpretation of the decree of January 22, 2013 (see article No. 130064) on the extension of tax exemptions on productivity-based pay (up to €950 million in 2013, €400 in 2014, and €200 million in 2015).
