On May 23, the management of Lafarge Group, its EWC and the European Federation of Building and Woodworkers (EFBWW) signed a declaration on wellbeing at work. This declaration comes on top of the European text on occupational health and safety the group had already signed in 2011. (Ref. 130387)
The “Declaration on health, safety and hygiene” of June 2011 contains the primary principles Lafarge wants to respect in terms of health and safety at work, notably on the introduction of health and safety committees or working groups in these European structures, and also on training, informing employees, medical check-up, and so on.
