In just 48 hours the Norsk Transportarbeiderforbund (NTF/ Norwegian transport workers) together with the employers’ body NHO Logistikk og Transport (NHO LT) struck an agreement covering several post and packages delivery companies including DHL, Postnord, and Nor Lines. A separate agreement was also struck for the Schenker company.
Union disappointment. “The employers bodies had required that alterations to regulations over working time be done away with, which would have been bad for us. We defended our positions and we are very pleased with this year’s agreement,” welcomed the union head, Lars Morten Johnsen during the announcement of the agreement on 28 April.
