RATP signs an agreement to institute a European Works Council

This EWC “is to be a forum for information, the exchange of views, and discussion over business conditions, and on the group’s European strategy.” * A maximum of twenty members will sit on the EWC. The EWC will initially comprise nine French representatives, two UK representatives, one Italian representative, and an ‘observer’ for Switzerland to track the group’s development in the country. This EWC will receive “information pertaining to the Group’s European situation, including economic and financial strategy as well as potential social consequences resulting from the implementation of such strategies.”
