The news. On 31 May, the International Trade Union Confederation (ITUC) published its annual report on the state of workers’ rights worldwide. The 2026 edition reveals a global degradation, particularly through violations of the freedom of assembly and association and attacks against trade unionists, while 109 countries (out of 151 studied) still obstruct access to justice.
