EU: European social partners from the railroad sector adopted recommendations in favour of women’s employment

European social partners from the railroad sector - the European union federation ETF and the managers' organization CER - signed, on June 12, 2007, in Rome, a series of recommendations to favour the presence of women in jobs in the railroad sector. (Ref. 070576)

Relying on a study led by the sector’s European social partners since 2004, about women’s presence in the sector’s jobs, and the good practices established to introduce them into these jobs, the joint recommendations, adopted last June 12, aim at a better representation and integration of women in the railroad sector.
