Building social partners agreed, on the night of July 4, on regional changes to the collective agreement passed in May between the sectorial union IG BAU and the sector's two employers' federations. The building employers’ federations from the Low-Saxony and Schleswig-Holstein regions managed to find, last Wednesday, an agreement with the IG BAU, the building union, on regional amendments to the general collective agreement (see our story 070495) signed at the end of May between the IG BAU and the employers’ federation of the German building industry (HDB) as well as the central union of building companies (ZDB).
