Great Britain: several important laws come into force on October 1st

The entrance in accordance with law against discriminations based on age is a very waited and important reform. Another text will come to regulate the provisioning of hand of work in agriculture. The minimum wage passes to 5.35 pounds. (Ref. 06950)

Law against discriminations on grounds of age. This is one of the most important changes in British labour law in 25 years, it is a result of European directive 2000/78 EC on employment.
