Inform via the web. This is an unprecedented initiative: schools and colleges teachers now have access to learning tools about unions’ role, via a free website accessible to all www.unionsintoschool.org.uk. This website was designed by the TUC union in partnership with teaching unions, NASUWT, NUT and ATL, and UNISON, Unite and Unionlearn, the TUC’s education unit. The “Unions into Schools” website proposes historical and contemporary information under various forms: lesson plans, videos, PowerPoint presentations, quizzes, role-play activities… The point is to be as didactic as possible.
