Groupama: amendment to the EWC agreement to take in new members

The French insurance group Groupama (33.000 employees) amended the agreement establishing its EWC to take in the representatives of the new countries where the group is settling. The 30-member limit is maintained, but each country can only get three members, and the French delegation will be reduced when the new members hit the 30-member threshold. (Ref. 080480)

In order to maintain the limit set by the agreement
to 30 representatives while allowing new States entering the perimeter of the agreement
to get representatives, the council and the management bargained for a new amendment
which follows the one signed in 2007 which strengthened the body’s resources
and capacities (see our dispatch No. 070415).
The new amendment, which will be ratified by all the current council members
after a European tour with council and management members, maintains the
