The home appliances group's management, the delegation for the international federation of metalworkers (IFM), as well as union representatives for workers from Britain (Amicus), Italy (metallurgy federations FIM-FIOM-UILM) and Russia (MMWU) met on March 2, 2007 in Rome, to continue the monitoring of the enforcement of the international framework agreement (IFA). In accordance with what was agreed to during the last meeting on October 26, 2006 (see our story n°061169), the Rome meeting resulted in the establishment of an “international talks table”, in charge of jointly monitoring the IFA’s enforcement.
