Statuses. The task for created last year in preparation for the creation of a global manufacturing union met in Frankfurt on May 5th. Its 37 members, representing the three union organizations, agreed on recommendations which will be presented to the executive structures at the end of the month. The head office of the future organization should be in Geneva, where the IMF and ICEM are already present, while the ITGLWF is in Brussels. The statuses have not been finalized but the future structure should be composed of a President and three VPs. Besides, the representatives agreed on a joint contribution system.
