Prior consultation with trade unions on innovations related to artificial intelligence, strengthened training, and progress on parenthood: these are the main new features of the agreement signed on 16 July by Barilla’s management and the Fai-Cisl, Flai-Cgil and Uila trade unions, covering the Italian agri-food group’s 4,000 employees.
Against a backdrop of major changes in eating habits, the Barilla Group is betting on “strong and constructive” industrial relations to ensure its competitiveness, balancing economic considerations with “the enhancement of people as a central and decisive element.” The new company agreement, which will remain in force until the end of 2029, provides for a minimum productivity bonus totalling €12,680 over the four-year period.
