Italy: Confindustria’s answer to unions’ draft reform of the conventional system

During her investiture speech on May 22, Emma Marcegaglia, the new leader of the Confindustria, gave a first response to the guidelines adopted by the three union federations on the reform of the conventional system (see our dispatch No. 080377). She proposes to lighten national collective conventions and to give more space to company agreements to link wage increases to productivity and results. (Ref. 080434)
