Italy: pharmaceutical-chemistry social partners reach national agreement on CSR guidelines

Federchimica and Farmindustria for employers and Filctem-CGIL, Femca-Cisl and Uilcem-Uil for unions (which signed the CCN in pharmaceutical-chemistry) signed, on November 18th in Milan, within the framework of the sector’s national observatory, a “major and innovative” agreement on “guidelines” to encourage, also “through a social responsibility pact,” socially responsible choices and behaviors via industrial relations and corporate bargaining.  In a joint press release, the signatories point out that this agreement is the result of industrial relations concerned about “encouraging the development of union relations at firm level that can support companies’ competitiveness and development to ensure the protection and growth of jobs and incomes.”
