CONFETRA (general Italian Confederation for Transportation and Logistics) and MANAGERITALIA (national federation of managers, executives and trade, transportation, tourism, services and the service sector's professionals) signed, on July 31, an agreement to renew the sector's national collective agreement, centered on a better protection for this specific category of employees. Enforceable from January 1, 2007 to December 31, 2010 for the normative part and to December 31, 2008 for the pay part, the agreement renews the national collective agreement for executives and managers in transportation and merchandise consignment companies as well as in logistics companies which had ended on December 31, 2006.
