Netherlands: trade union alert on heat wave

On 13 July, the federation of Dutch trade unions (FNV) said it was chocked by the number of calls received from workers suffering from the heat. (Ref.06729)

Since 10 July, the main trade union federation of the Netherlands has received 350 phone calls on its special “heat wave” hotline. In the Netherlands, temperatures above 25° are considered as a heat wave.
