Like we had announced earlier, the French group Schneider Electric (88670 employees in 130 countries) has launched a negotiation on the anticipative management of restructurings (see story n°06273) to accompany its new company program NEW presented in January 2005. Like Areva, Schneider’s management contacted the European Metalworkers’ Federation (EMF) to set up a group of negotiators.
