With only days left until the deadline to transpose the pay transparency directive, Lithuania and Italy have passed their draft bills just in time. Meanwhile, the Netherlands and Poland have introduced draft legislation that could be voted on shortly.
Less than a week before the June 7, 2026 transposition deadline for the pay transparency directive, only Slovakia, Lithuania and Italy have acted in time. In Italy, the legislative decree implementing the directive was published in the Official Gazette on 1 June, coming into force on 7 June.
